The creative talents of our young readers emerged in brilliant colours as they put their pens, paints, and crayons to paper for the Master Mascot Makers contest. The aim of the contest was for students to design a mascot character that would represent the environmental values and vision of the Green School Programme. The participants made several cute, creative, and thoughtful mascot designs that conveyed how they understood and integrated diverse yet interconnected environmental issues, ranging from biodiversity and food to energy and waste.
This mascot, named “Freddy the Tiger”, was designed by Abhinav Dhawan of class 8, Indraprashta International School, Dwarka, Delhi. He won the first prize for this vibrant and eye-catching mascot which embodies the ideas of environmental stewardship, clean energy, and harmony with nature.
