Tasting the Kumaoni thali in Jim Corbett made me realise food is more than taste—it’s culture, warmth, and connection to the land and its people.

At Jim Corbett, we skipped the usual noodles and pasta and asked for local food. The staff served madua ki roti, bhat ki dal, and seasonal vegetables. “This is what our grandmothers made—simple and strong,” said the cook. Each bite was fresh, healthy, and full of flavour. While others chose junk food, we felt proud to support local culture and eat mindfully. That day, we learned that real travel tastes best when it’s rooted in tradition.

Small steps led to big change. Today, I proudly stand for healthy choices. What we eat shapes our future—let’s choose wisely and live better, together!
