Life on Autopilot

Life on Autopilot

Attend classes, study, eat, sleep, then rinse and repeat. Sounds peaceful, doesn’t it? It sure did to me, at least in the first few weeks of lockdown. Though now, instead of the noisy interruptions by many loud students, my classes are punctuated by silence.

Classroom in the Time of PANDAmic!

Classroom in the Time of PANDAmic!

We all like pandas, don’t we? Those cute furry little creatures with big shiny eyes who do nothing all day but roll on the grass and munch on bamboos!

But unfortunately, pandas live mainly in temperate forests, high in the mountains of southwest China, or in the zoos in which your parents will never take you because they’re six hours away from your house. I mean, why go to the zoo when you can solve 15 math problems from RD Sharma in those six hours and actually be ‘productive’ in that time!?

blinked in confusion, “Psychics, yet again!” As I kept jotting down notes in my copy, I started another episode of daydreams in my mind. My friend messaged me in between asking, "Hey, which page is Ma'am teaching?" I frowned.

"Maybe 39 or 40," I replied.

I missed my friend because, in school, we never talked about which chapter we were being taught or what books we should bring...

The little things in life are easy to misplace. What's even easier is to lose them. Here's a way to find all your little belongings at one place and make sure that you don't lose them.

Step 1: Take a rectangular cardboard box with a lid. You can use a discarded shoebox from the house.

Step 2: Open the lid of the shoebox and measure its height with the help of a scale. Note the reading.

The natural resonance of the bamboo amplifies sound and is, therefore, used in building instruments like the flute. Since it does not require electricity to amplify sound, a bamboo speaker is an eco-friendly product that you will have fun building and proud to show it off! The View Outside My Window

The View Outside My Window

As usual, I woke up in the morning thinking about what I would do that day. It wasn't a special day, my routine was all planned-up like other days. It was a holiday, I didn’t have to go to school. I was determined to do something new, see something different. I was thinking about going with my family to watch a movie or something like that. I don’t watch movies often but my exams had just ended the day before. Many ideas came to my mind, but that day I don’t know why...

Turning The Tide

Turning The Tide

A group of students have come together to address their water worries

The aqueducts connecting the roof to the ground have been aesthetically designed as a part of the building through tiled wall depressions rather than pipes. The rainwater collected from the roof directly recharges the percolation pits. Even inside the building, there are open courtyards with steps for the water to move down and recharge the groundwater. Our sole aim as of now is to recharge the groundwater aquifer, which is a problem in a city like Gurugram, which suffers from alarming drop in groundwater levels. It is due to this, that we are privileged to support well developed green spaces without consuming the city water supply.

How Parth Found His Best Friend

How Parth Found His Best Friend

One summer afternoon when Aman was sitting in a corner looking lost, Parth went up to him and said, “Hi, why are you sitting alone during recess?" Aman got up from his desk and walked out of the classroom. The recess ended and all the boys entered the class and made themselves comfortable in their respective seats. After the school got over, Parth walked up to Javed and asked him as to what is the matter with Aman, why does he stay gloomy and aloof.
